This has some similarity with the Indian Holi. This festival is celebrated elsewhere also perhaps Holland, I am not sure. Lovely pictures. Thanks.

It looks revolting and what a waste of good food. I can't work out the reason for the celebration. Good pictures, though, for all that.

I have seen a similar tomato festival on TV. Seems like such a waste. I wonder how they get the buildings and streets clean, tomato leave a stain. Thank you for coming by.

I to wonder how everything was cleaned after the event. Makes for nice photos, but seems like such a waste of good food.

I don't know how they can do it.Tomatoes are sold for 9 Dirhams a Kg here !
